  第三個就是說的要有慣性動作,什麼叫要有慣性?要加大幅度、有慣性,就是說什麼意思?就我發球以前,我重心要交換,我手、手腕要打開,我們現在有很多人這發球、你看我這重心交換、手打開,發球的話重心能夠用上勁,手腕那個活動幅度大的話,他旋轉力會強非常多。

  The third tip is to stretch your body and use your momentum fully. Before serve, you need to impart your weight on the rear foot and keep your forearm and wrist open. During the serve, you need to change your weight from the rear foot to the front foot. Meanwhile, move your forearm forwards naturally with your body movement. Watch out! With fully use of change of your weight location and twist of your wrist, you will make a much heavier spin serve.

  第四個就是對發力時候的要求,那有幾小點我跟大家稍微說一下。就是說第一個什麼叫兩個同一,就是說的我發球我打開以後,我的重心、我的前臂、手指、手腕、我身體跟上肢,在同一時間向同一方向發力,你先動重心或你先動手,都是發不轉的。第二個就是說的,我發力的話,我重心一定要、發球的話重心一定要配合手,一定要發力,我們很多人不發力。給大家舉個例子,許昕在練轉不轉發球的時候,強化了他這個東西,只練了二十分鐘,他下午請假,他說他屁股疼,就以前他不使勁,劉國梁教的時候,必須讓他用勁。所以重心的力量非常重要,因為重心很粗、很粗大,他的力量很粗,手指很細,是吧?所以重心的勁兒一定要用。再一個就是說的我握拍的手指,關鍵的部位,你比如發側旋的話,我的中指往上提的話,這個手指、這個關鍵手指,發轉不轉,這個虎口這塊往下切,就這關鍵部位也要用足力頂。第四個就是說的我這個球兒啊、發球兒啊,這個是板頭兒,我這個力量一定要通過重心的勁兒一定要竄到板頭兒,從板頭兒有一種什麼感覺?我這上面寫的,有一種往下砸的感覺,有一種這個力量由板頭兒往外竄的感覺。

  The fourth tip is about how to maximize your power. There are some points. The first point is two as one. The body, such as your weight position, and the forearm, such as wrist, fingers, imparts the ball with forces towards the same direction at the same time. Neither moving body first nor moving forearm first can make the serve with heavy spins. The second point is you must maximize the power from your body. Many players serve without the power from the body. For example, XU Xin focused on maximizing body’s power when practicing serves with disguised backspin. He practiced for only twenty minutes and he took a sick-leave that afternoon because his hips hurt. His hips hurt because he did not use body’s power before. Once maximizing body’s power by LIU Guoliang, his hips hurt. Therefore, you must maximize your body’s power towards the serve. You see. Your body’s power must be way too lager than your forearm’s power, right? You must maximize your body’s power towards the serve. One more point is about your grip. How you grip your racket with your fingers is quite essential. If you make a side-spin serve, your middle finger must hold out against the racket tightly. By doing this, you can maximize your serve power. The forth point is to make your racket sink down and run wild. You need to feel a power running wild, injecting in to the rackets, and running out of the racket. By movement of your weight from the rear foot to the front foot, the power accumulates and passes through your foot, waist, forearm, wrist, fingers, the racket, and finally onto the ball imparting it maximized power.
