Performance Better Summit(PBS)
為期三天的Performance Better Summit於8/25-8/27在Long Beach, CA 舉行,由於此次活動與前一天考CFSC是同一個地點,所以當時連同CFSC報名了此次活動,我和一同前往參加的王教練住在會場對面的港口船上,當然不如飯店那樣的舒適,但卻是種很特別的體驗。
會場活動開始當天會有許多運動產業相關的廠商到場宣傳,有時候填寫個簡單問卷、留個資料,就可以拿到書或是一些實用的小紀念品。此外,還可以在會場購買到許多便宜的訓練器材與書籍,例如:TRX售價為$169USD(台幣5239元左右)、Michael Boyle新書New Functional Training For Sports售價為$21USD(台幣651元左右),如果有機會來參與,行李箱一定要留一點空間。
主辦單位為了增加教練之間的交流,在第一天的傍晚時間安排了一個小餐會,提供免費的小點心與酒精飲料。有許多教練特地換上正式的服裝參與此次的餐會,然而像我這樣第一次參加的教練,當然就是著運動服裝出席了。想要多認識一些國外教練,真的要趁此次機會多多推銷自己。
