FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, is looking for 1 Intern for Communications Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Translation of FIBA articles;
- Management of FIBA various Chinese social media platforms (Weibo, WeChat, etc);
- Support FIBA Digital team in various tasks;
Experienceand skills required
- Serious and careful;
- Experience of Chinese social media platforms management;
- Experience of editor, major sports media experience will be asset;
- Good Chinese written skills;
- Able to work in flexible hours;
- Able to work during the weekend (occasionally);
- Basketball knowledge, international basketball knowledge will be asset;
Work Location
FIBA China office(Beijing).
Required Languages
English and Chinese fluent, especially in Chinese written.
Salary
100-150 RMB per day.

【招募】Senior Freelance Basketball Editor
The Chinese office of the International basketball federation (FIBA) is looking for a senior freelance basketball editor, to join its Communication Department in the lead-up and during the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019.
He/she will report to FIBA China's Digital Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and ensure smooth cooperation with FIBA Digital Media Partner in China, Tencent Sports
- Manage and ensure proper running and information display on the Chinese version of FIBA Basketball World Cup website
- Create and/or translate content for the Chinese version of FIBA Basketball World Cup website and mobile APP
- Management and content creation for FIBA various Chinese social media channel (Weibo, WeChat, etc)
- 3-5 year of experience managing similar media partnership with leading Chinese Digital Media platform(s)
- 5+ years’ experience of editing and managing websites
- 2-3 year chinese social media platforms management experience is strong plus
- Serious, reliable and strong attention to details
- Strong international basketball knowledge is a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken/written)
- Able to work in flexible hours and at night
- Able to work during the weekend (occasionally)
Work location
- Beijing, FIBA China from start until end of July 2019
- Beijing Tencent office from August – Mid-October 2019

【招募】Media Operations Venue Manager
FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, is looking for a media operations venue manager for Communications Department.
He/she will report to FIBA World Cup 2019 Operations Manager, Jalinka Michaux.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing the media operations plan set by FIBA Communications for the event
- Contributing to the success of the media services offered to accredited media and according to the provided brief(s)
- Managing media accreditation on-site via the FIBA Media Portal/EMS

A. Coordinating the set-up and implementation of the media areas and facilities in the venue she/he is assigned to before the beginning of the competition
B. Liaising with FIBA Media Operations Manager and report daily about the status of the venue (daily calls, check-points, etc.)
C. Managing media operations and activities during the competition, as for example:
i. Technical meeting active contribution to share media information and protocols with the participating team delegations

B. Establishing a relationship of trust with the media, National Federation’s Media Officers and other stakeholders (LLOCs, etc.)
C. Contributing towards and promoting efficient Communication within the organisation

Workshop and Trainings
A preparation workshop for all staff working at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China will take place from 3 to 5 of June in Chamonix, France. Additional conference calls/trainings are going to be organised for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Media Operations Venue Managers between June and August 2019.
Venue Attribution
FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Media Operations Venue Managers will be assigned to the Group Phase venues according to different criteria, including language(s) spoken, teams and competition system. The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Media Operations Venue Manager will remain in the same venue for the entire duration of the Group Phase (Round 1 and Round 2). Teams will switch venues between the two Rounds.
Salary
- 100-150 RMB per day
