洋基的寒假作業至少及格了：DJ LeMahieu重返洋基

一直沒有什麼動作的洋基果然就是在鴨子划水地談判，今天傳出消息，頂級自由球員DJ LeMahieu以6年90M的價碼重返洋基。

Jeff Passan算是第一個揭露LeMahieu重返洋基的專欄作家。

Second baseman DJ LeMahieu and the New York Yankees are finalizing a six-year, $90M contract, sources familiar with the agreement tell ESPN.

接著資深MLB媒體人Rosenthal也轉了Passan的消息出來。

Nearly one year ago, Josh Donaldson signed a four-year, $92M free-agent contract with the Twins entering his age 34 season. Source confirms DJ LeMahieu is in agreement on a six-year, $90M deal with the Yankees entering his age 32 season. First with terms: @JeffPassan.

這名儼然是洋基過去兩年陣中的絕對MVP，在洋基先前那筆超值無比的2年24M的合約裡，合計貢獻8.2的WAR、連續兩年都是洋基陣中的WAR領先者、連續兩年都拿下MVP選票，2020球季更是進到MVP決選名單，並且成為百年來首位在兩聯盟都拿下打擊王的內野手，最終LeMahieu拿到了與Donaldson的那筆4年92M合約相近的價碼，比先前預期的4年合約還來的長。

根據Ken Rosenthal的推測，因為LeMahieu跟洋基都互相有意再續前緣，然LeMahieu希望的合約是90M的總額，但為了要能與洋基簽下這筆合約，他必須把平均年薪降低，這樣才能讓洋基避免豪華稅，而這也可以說明為何最終合約會超過4年，但總值確實是LeMahieu要的90M。
